As part of Portland Arts Week, The Writer’s Block is hosting The Art of Unmatched - an exhibit featuring our film, the history of Portland and women’s soccer, a large collection of UP and Portland soccer memorabilia, and art by Kyra Watkins.

We are thrilled to announce that Unmatched will be featured in a panel discussion at the upcoming International Women’s Sports Film Festival (IWSFF) at noon on Saturday, May 2, at The Judy in downtown Portland.

The North Peninsula Review and University of Portland’s student newspaper The Beacon both recently featured Unmatched.

Unmatched: The Team That Changed the Beautiful Game has been awarded a $5,000 Portland Arts Project Grant from the Regional Arts & Culture Council (RACC) and the Office of Arts & Culture.

We are thrilled to share that Unmatched: The Team That Changed the Beautiful Game has been awarded one of three $10,000 Amplify Portland: Local Filmmakers Production grants.

Unmatched: The Team That Changed the Beautiful Game has been awarded a $15,000 Impact Grant from Oregon Film, designed to support film projects that will make a positive impact on Oregon’s film industry.

Unmatched: The Team That Changed the Beautiful Game has successfully completed its Kickstarter campaign. With an initial goal of $25,000, the campaign ultimately received $31,760 in pledges from 246 backers.
