Unmatched panel at International Women’s Sports Film Festival

We are thrilled to announce that Unmatched will be featured in a panel discussion at the upcoming International Women’s Sports Film Festival (IWSFF) at noon on Saturday, May 2, at The Judy in downtown Portland. Tickets available here.

The panel will include Unmatched director Joe Kuffner, legendary Associated Press soccer reporter Anne Peterson, and 2005 Pilots team member Becca Meierbachtol (named the team’s most inspirational player), and will be moderated by OPB reporter Kyra Buckley. It will be hosted in partnership with OPB’s weekly podcast The Evergreen.

The inaugural IWSFF (May 1-3) is the first global film festival dedicated entirely to stories about women and nonbinary athletes. The festival showcases documentaries, narrative films, and short films that explore the culture, challenges, and triumphs of women in sports. Programming also includes panels, filmmaker conversations, athlete discussions, workshops, and community events designed to expand the conversation around representation and gender equity in sport.

The IWSFF is sponsored by: The Sports Bra, QDOC, The Idea Factory, Papertrees Creative, Bowtie Strateiges, and Capone Cousins.
